FAQs
What should I wear to a salsa class?
Wear comfortable clothes and shoes with smooth soles – avoid trainers or heel with grip.
Do I need a partner to join the class?
No, the class will rotate partners so coming solo is perfectly fine.
Do I need any prior dance experience?
Not at all – beginner classes assume no experience and start from the basics.
What kind of salsa will be taught?
At Sweet Salsa we teach Cuban style.
How long are the classes and what can I expect to learn in this session?
Classes are 45 minutes long with time to practice after. You will learn basic steps, rhythm and how to dance with a partner.
It seemed like a big step to attend a salsa class all those years ago. However I didn’t think it would change my life in the way it did.
